Sequenced engine start controller for Kiran Viper II
The Starter Control Panel sequences the starting of the Viper II engine in the Kiran MKI/IA. The Viper engine requires a time-based and RPM-based sequence of auxiliary device activation during start. The panel manages this sequence and includes an engine speed detection circuit for RPM-based cut-out. Sequence: Starter power relay ON at 0s; Igniter and primary burner ON at 4 ±0.5s, OFF at 17 ±0.5s; Rate reset valve ON at 8 ±0.5s, OFF at 25 ±0.5s; Cut-out at 31 ±1.0s or at 25–27% RPM.
