Five-channel cockpit lighting dimmer for LCA
The Dimmerstat P/N SE-DS-02 MOD-1 for the Light Combat Aircraft supplies controllable DC voltage to drive the brightness of ILCPs (Integrally Lit Cockpit Panels), push button switches, indicators, LRUs and display unit bezel lights across cockpit zones. It runs off 28VDC from the aircraft DC emergency bus and provides five outputs: Channel 1 (10–20VDC, LH/RH console ILCPs and bezel lights on FCS, AMU, ECS), Channel 2 (10–20VDC, MIP zone ILCPs and CWP bezel), Channel 3 (1–5VDC, display bezels on LHMFD, CMFD, RHMFD, SSDU-GUH, SSDU-EFI), Channel 4 (12VDC fixed, autopilot panel and U/C display indicators), and Channel 5 (12VDC fixed, redundant backup for CH 1 and CH 4).
