The Three Point Seat Belt by Southern Electronics is designed to minimise risk to the operator or driver in the event of collision or abrupt deceleration. The system comprises strap(s), a buzzer-cum-flasher, a securing buckle with quick release and adjusting devices, and attachments capable of being anchored in the operator’s cabin. Reports show the chances of surviving road accidents are doubled if operators wear a seat belt. In case the buckle jams during eventualities, a cutting arrangement is provided in the cabin to ensure easy escape.
