Rear Vision Camera System
Rugged rear-view camera and monitor for HEMM operators
Due to the sheer size of the equipment, the blind-spot area for operators of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment is large. To aid the operator to safely navigate the equipment while reversing, Southern Electronics has designed the Rear View Camera System. The system consists of a rugged camera, monitor, processing unit, accessories and cables. Video captured by the camera at the rear of the vehicle is displayed to the operator on an LCD installed in the cabin. The system is mounted to minimise dynamic loads, temperature, shock, vibration and dust that could prematurely damage the device.
