Dump Body Stabilizer System
Hall-sensor dump body raised-position indicator with warning
(As per DGMS specification.) The Dump Body Raise Indicator System is a crucial safety feature in dump trucks, preventing accidents caused by operating with a raised dump body. It provides real-time visual and audio alerts to warn operators, reducing the risk of collisions with overhead structures. By ensuring the dump body is fully lowered before movement, it enhances safety and prevents costly damage. A Hall sensor detects the dump body’s position using magnetic field detection: when the body is lowered, the magnetic device keeps the sensor magnetised; as the body rises, the magnet moves away, demagnetising the sensor and triggering the LED warning and audio alarm. Once lowered, the sensor re-magnetises and the alerts stop. The system includes a control unit, magnetic device, Hall sensor and LED indicator, and also prevents transmission beyond first gear if the dump body is raised. The product is IP68-rated to withstand harsh environments.
