The Linear Heat Detection (LHD) Cable sensor is a fixed temperature sensor which triggers the system when the temperature is reached. It consists of two steel conductors, each insulated by a heat-sensitive polymer, providing early detection of overheating and fire hazards in combat environments and preventing potential fires in machinery.
