LHD tube-based fire suppression for electrical panels and switchgear
Electrical panels and cabinets are a key application of Southern Electronics’ Linear Heat Detection (LHD) Tube Based fire suppression system. The flexible, temperature-sensitive polymer tube is routed through the panel and autonomously ruptures at the hottest spot to release suppression agent directly at the source, protecting sensitive switchgear and control equipment from fire damage.
